Qazigund, Aug 17 (KNO): A Class 12 student was saved by a CRPF Assistant Commandant and a first aider after she fainted and lost consciousness on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway at Bonigam village of Qazigund in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday.
According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the student suddenly fainted and lost consciousness while on the highway.
Navneet Mishra, Assistant Commandant, along with Motiram, a first aider of the 46th Battalion CRPF, who were deployed for highway duty, immediately rushed to the spot.
They provided immediate first aid and initial medical assistance to the student, helping stabilise her condition.
The student was subsequently shifted in a CRPF vehicle to Emergency Hospital Qazigund for further medical attention.
She is stated to be stable now—(KNO)
